Questions & Answers
Laminate is fade resistant, not 100% fade proof. It is generally accepted that all gloss finishes (i.e. paint, glass, furniture or car surfaces,…) are susceptible to superficial fading/gloss variation. This is not considered as a product fault. Superficial fading or gloss variation can occur depending on:
- the decor colour (darker/redder decors are more susceptible to fading than light colours),
- where the laminate is installed (in full sunlight or not),
- how long it has been installed (normal wear and tear and use can also cause some fading or changes in gloss),
- with what kind of products it has been covered (some carpets/products can also cause damages to the protecting overlay of the laminate floor).
